Instructions for use of celandine

Successful therapy with celandine for warts requires compliance with the instructions for use.

You have to proceed step by step:

  • Thoroughly wash the plant and hold it in hot water to steam out the wart and adjacent skin so the product can better penetrate the tissues.
  • break the stem of the plant, drops of juice appear on the cut;
  • quickly and accurately cover the wart and a little adjacent skin with liquid;
  • it is necessary to lubricate twice a day;
  • Processing should be continued until the formation completely disappears.

The juice of celandine is not stored, and the suitability of the plant for treating warts is only two months a year. You can use a plant extract, preparations and formulations based on them. Most of them are sold in pharmacies, used externally, each comes with instructions for use. Active ingredients are in a concentrated form, have a powerful effect.

Mountain Celandine Juice

The drug is a pharmacological balm, which, in addition to the juice of the substance, contains extracts of other medicinal plants. Easily removes small elements, suppresses the papilloma virus in the treated area. Purpose of use:

  • it is necessary to steam the skin;
  • soak a cotton swab in the liquid;
  • press it against the wart for a few minutes (face - 8, body - 10);
  • If the drug is packed in a small cup with a ground stopper, then a drop of balm is lightly applied to the center of the formation with an applicator.
  • the area covered with the preparation should be smaller than the surface of the growth so as not to damage healthy tissue;
  • keratinized particles periodically peel off, but do not reach the blood;
  • treat the wart every 12 hours;
  • The course of treatment lasts 3-10 days.

On the basis of celandine juice, you can prepare a homemade ointment. It is effective, easier and safer to use, does not damage healthy tissues, requires no special preparation and is easy to use.

The recipe is simple: combine equal parts juice and glycerin. Vinegar and garlic juice have a burning effect. Mixing them with flour can hide warts.

Solution or extract from a pharmacy

While the celandine is flowering, you can keep the extract year-round. Procurement phases:

  • 1 kg collect stems and leaves, rinse, dry;
  • Scroll the raw materials several times in a meat grinder, chop with a blender or food processor.
  • fold the resulting pulp into several layers of gauze or thin fabric;
  • Squeeze the juice into a container, opaque or dark glass (do not use metal - it oxidizes the active ingredients);
  • Put in darkness and heat for 7 days to get fermentation reaction;
  • Open the container or make a hole in the lid to release gases and wait another 7 days.
  • fill up with medicinal (95%) ethyl alcohol, in proportion to 1 part celandine 2 parts alcohol.

It turns out alcohol tincture. The plant extract is industrially produced and sold in a pharmacy, suitable for immediate use. The wart should be smeared with it 4-5 times a day, without touching healthy tissue. After 2-3 weeks, the growth disappears completely.

Due to the high temperature of boiling water, vitamins and other active ingredients are destroyed and the beneficial properties are lost. A decoction of celandine is ineffective and is rarely used to combat warts.

Aqueous solution of alkalis

This is a complex chemical compound that contains no plant components. The drug is effective in the fight against warts and plantar papillomas. Thanks to its gel-like consistency, it is easy to apply, does not spread and is quickly absorbed. Type of application:

  • the skin is pre-steamed;
  • adjacent tissues are lubricated with a fatty cream or sealed with a plaster;
  • with a special applicator in a vial, a drop of the drug is applied to the center of the formation;
  • at the moment of contact of the substance with living tissue, you can feel a burning sensation that will soon stop;
  • small formations disappear within a day after one treatment;
  • large structures last 5-6 sessions with breaks for a day;
  • A chemical burn occurs at the treated site, which requires further processing until it is completely healed.

An analogue of the remedy is a wart pin.

oil

Medicinal oil is prepared on the basis of fresh herbs:

  • fresh stalks cut into small pieces;
  • put in a deep bowl;
  • add sunflower oil so that it covers the greens for two fingers;
  • Heat for 60 minutes, then move to a dark and cool place (no refrigerator);
  • preserved and strained after 7 days;
  • add the same amount of fresh oil.

After 1-2 months they can remove small formations, treat acne, inflammation and acne.

Burnout prevention

Before proceeding with the removal of warts with celandine at home, you need to consult a dermatologist. The doctor will determine the nature of the formation, check for oncology and say whether herbal therapy is suitable. Any independent manipulation with skin growths poses a danger to human health. Precautions when using celandine and preparations based on it:

  1. Test for allergies first. If you apply a small amount of juice to a wart, the skin may become red, itchy, swollen, and peel off. The application must be stopped.
  2. Treat damaged tissues with an aqueous solution of salt and soda - it neutralizes the active substances.
  3. Protect healthy skin from negative effects by first lubricating it with a greasing cream or oil.
  4. The contact time of the substance with the skin should not exceed 10 minutes.
  5. There is no need to pick up a blackened wart, tear off the crust, open the wound - it can start to fester. Blood poisoning and necrosis of adjacent tissues can occur as a complication.
  6. During treatment, the condition of the skin must be carefully monitored to avoid inflammation, chemical burns and scarring.

Can pregnant women use

Pregnancy and subsequent breastfeeding are contraindications to the use of celandine and drugs based on it. The juice of the plant is poisonous, contains alkaloids.

During childbirth, when a woman's body is under increased stress, the immune system weakens, toxins can harm both mother and fetus.

When breastfeeding, substances can be transferred to the baby with the milk and cause poisoning. Small children are at risk, the use of the plant should be avoided until the age of 5 years.

Is it normal for the wart to turn black after the procedure?

Removal of warts with celandine is a cautery using natural reagents: alkaloids, organic acids, essential oils. If black dots appear on the surface, the method is working. Gradually, under the influence of the drug, the formation should turn completely black. After therapy can be stopped, growth will soon fall off.

Skin smoothness can be restored at no additional cost. The celandine plant is an effective and free remedy. Preparations based on it help with warts and are inexpensive.
